The combination of a balanced diet and regular exercise is the generic prescription for physical fitness but why stop at simply getting fit when you can also get fab in the process. The Filipina Homebased Moms or FHMoms celebrates the Health Month this July with a Fit & Fab 2020 theme. They recently launched the FHMoms Fit & Fab 2020 Challenge to help members of their community achieve their fitness goals. Not just that, the program also aims to help participants to discover the best versions of themselves.   

The FHMoms Fit & Fab 2020 Challenge takes a holistic approach to fitness that covers fitness, nutrition, and personality development. This 21-day challenge involves online learning sessions wherein guest speakers will share their expertise on how to be fit and fab. Their roster of guests and topics include:

  • Riza Mendoza Sarmiento, Fitness Coach and Lifestyle Entrepreneur for Moms in Motion: Workout Classes
  • Angel Llamanzares Martinez, Certified Self-Confidence Coach for Brand New Y.O.U.: Personal Branding and On-line Presence
  • Monica Hipolito Aguilar, Vice President of Streetpark Productions and Executive Producer of CNN Philippines’ The Final Pitch for Power Mom: From Fitness to Business
  • Michael Sarmiento, Group Fitness Instructor, Zumba Instructor, and Retro Instructor for Zumba Sessions

Moms who signed-up for the program also get 12 exclusive workout sessions from the fitness trainers. With the resources provided by these guest speakers, program participants can start moving towards improving themselves no just physically but also socially and emotionally. Thus, enabling them to discover and bring out the best that they can be. For me this is exactly what we need to face new challenges that lie ahead or at least start the journey to become better versions of ourselves.

I am one of the moms who accepted the FHMoms Fit & Fab 2020 Challenge and we have already started our session with Coach Rita last Saturday. She talked about the importance of proper nutrition then ended the session with some exercises for the participants. I had a great time during the sessions and I can’t wait to see the outcome at the end of this 21-day challenge.
