It’s always exciting to receive a package. The anticipation builds as you see the courier park by your curb side and then walk up to your front door with your package. There’s a special package that I got recently. And since I didn’t know what was in it, I was even more excited to open it. It was like Christmas again for this big girl 😀

The Black Amelia Laser Cut Faux Leather Dress by Cynthia Steffe ($228) is simply to die for. Anyone who knows me would know that I could not get enough of little black dresses – there’s more than one LBD in my closet. This faux leather number from Cynthia Steffe is a figure hugging dress that has an interestingly rich texture. It’s really a modern take on the classic black sheath.
I also got the Vanessa Mooney She-Speaks Bracelet set. The entire set of three bracelets retails for $96. Each one has an elastic bracelet covered with curved metal tubing. It has silver plated square metal beads alternating with gold plated curved tube. It has a gold diamond bead center accent. I got the gold/rose, gold, and silver colors. They look good worn together even on my small wrists.
My pamper pack consisted of the Organic Lip Balm from S.W. Basics of Brooklyn and Mt. Sapola Handmade Soaps. The organic lip balm has a hint of cinnamon scent and goes on my lips smoothly. It nourishes my parched lips and prevents them from chapping. The Seaweed and the Natural Lavender from Mt. Sapola gave my skin the daily cleansing and anti-oxidant protection it needs. The natural scents of seaweed and lavender do not overwhelm the senses at all.
