Rajo Makes a Dream Come True

Top Filipino fashion designer Rajo Laurel took a break from weaving beautiful creations into reality to make one child’s dream possible. Together with the Make a Wish Foundation, Rajo Laurel helped an ailing teen from Northern Philippines realize her dream of becoming a fashion designer.

The designer worked closely for weeks with brain tumor patient Erica dela Cruz as she sketched and put together her own designs which were then made by the House of Laurel and showcased in a birthday runway fashion presentation at the Peninsula Manila. This and other ventures of Rajo Laurel to help aspiring designers and models allow Rajo’s passion for fashion to go beyond the runway and the magazine spreads
