This is because the palpable spirit of positivity that one experiences during the event can be exceptional. The Miss Possibilities Pageant has been a platform for differently abled individuals to showcase their beauty and talents since 2015. But if you dig deeper, you’ll see that this event is much more than just a pageant and fashion show.
The Miss Possibilities 2019 is an awareness campaign for people with special needs or the differently abled. It is the first pageant for girls and women (age 12 years old and up) with special needs in the Philippines and Asia. Little by little people are starting to see what people with special needs are able to offer. They also have talents to share and perhaps even able to teach you a life lesson or two as well. At the very least they are able to inspire everyone to look beyond their limitations and work towards their dream.
Miss Possibilities also fosters inclusivity in the community by getting families and guests together in supporting the show. Not just that, local celebrities will also be joining the program thereby showing that people with special needs are able to strut their stuff alongside stars in the industry. If you go beyond the pageant, you’ll realize that with the right support people with special needs can also perform well in the workplace.
Aside from allowing you to see beauty in the differently abled, Miss Possibilities gives you an opportunity to support people with special needs. 100% of the Miss Possibilities 2019 ticket sales go to the Miss Possibilities Fund. This is used to fund medical and dental missions that provide free health and dental services for people with special needs. It also helps provide free therapy treatments and other support activities for underprivileged people with special needs.
