Hot days are unbearable. Not only for high temperatures you wilted, but also because it makes your skin sweat “sticky” and gives an unpleasant sensation. In such situations, you need some solutions to help you feel fresh all day.

Sweat has a dual role. First, from the skin is removed some of the toxins that accumulate in the body. It is absolutely normal and necessary process. On the other hand, sweat helps regulate body temperature when it is too high.

Nutrition

Unpleasant smell is given by the toxins removed, but more importantly, bacteria are on the skin and multiply that by finding fertile ground on wet skin. Foods consumed may influence the appearance of odor, but can also cause an increase in the amount of sweat. Spicy foods, alcohol, nicotine and caffeine stimulates sweating. Try to avoid, as much as possible.

Heavy foods have a similar effect, in that they are hard to digest and overburden the digestive system. Eat more fruits, vegetables, milk, cereals, soups, cold meat and avoid fatty and fried foods. Drink plenty of fluids, especially water, avoiding carbonated beverages.

Appropriate clothes

Clothing of synthetic material prevents water evaporation from the skin and contributes to excessive proliferation of bacteria. Choose clothing made of natural materials such as cotton, linen or silk.

Colors are also important as clothes are darker, the more they attract more heat. Lax and loose clothing outfits allow you to freshen up much easier.

Here are some basic rules:

* In each bathroom, use sea salt or herb flavored disinfectants. You can make infusions of chamomile, calendula and lavender, which you add to bath water. Because they have an antibacterial effect, remove excess bacteria from the skin.

* After bathing, a moisturizing body spray perfume. Some of these contain a small amount of alcohol, which is ideal for stopping the growth of bacteria. However, alcohol dries the skin, which is why such a body sprays should not be used excessively or in areas with sensitive skin.

* Use wet wipes to freshen up the whole day. You can put in the fridge some time before leaving home, if you really want to give you a sensation of coolness. Baby wipes are gentler, was specially designed for sensitive skin.

If the sweating persists for a long time and is not conditioned by the temperature outside, call your doctor. Certain health problems, disorders or hormonal changes, such as diabetes, hyperthyroidism or menopause symptoms can lead to excessive sweating. Also, hyperhidrosis is a problem manifested by excessive sweating, caused by an overactive brain center responsible for regulating body temperature.
