Most people want to look good whenever they go out in public. Thus, it’s not surprising that a lot of women rarely go out without having a touch of make-up on. At the very least women apply face powder and lipstick or gloss before leaving the house. But you shouldn’t discount the value of eye make up in bringing out your best look. Here are some of the eye make up trends that you may want to explore this coming holiday season.

Make-up trends for the 2018 fall and winter runways moved towards statement and dramatic looks. We have seen feathered brows, studded lids, and way out there liners worn by top models for the season. But there are still minimalist options for those who aren’t over the no make up look yet. Muted shades of pink or mauve blended over the lids is a nice touch for those who prefer to wear little make-up.  Those who are going for an androgynous look can simply wear structured brows and bare lashes. While not all looks can be worn with your OOTDs, there are some that would look awesome with your party outfits.

Celebrate the holiday season with some sparkle in your eyes. You can achieve this with metallic and glittery shades that we have seen in eye make up trends this year. For the minimalist, a dash of silver or gold just above the lash line can give you a trendy look. Those who prefer a more dramatic look can play around with shimmery eye shadow shades and lashes. If these looks don’t sparkle enough for you, then perhaps studs on your lids can do the trick.

Aside from metallic and glittery shadows, you can also play around with lashes and liners this season. You can create edgy to romantic looks with your mascara and liners combined. Bring out the beauty of your eyes with an application of mascara on your top and bottom lashes. You can match your extra-long lashes with berry stained eyes or lilac lids for a dreamy effect. As for your eye liners, you can create anything from a smoky look with khol lined eyes to statement looks with colored liners and cat or winged eyes.

These eye make up trends are certainly fun to play around with this coming holiday season when parties abound. You can explore different looks even those that are out of your usual comfort zone. Just remember to wear the trend with your full confidence.
