Dubai is known as the luxury capital of the world because of its lavish resorts, ultra modern architecture, and opulent malls. This city is definitely full of superlatives when it comes to its malls, resorts, and buildings. After all who wouldn’t be impressed with sky scrapers like the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab. These two are among the tallest buildings in the world. Dubai Parks and Resorts also offer the largest theme park destination in the Middle East with three parks and one hotel in the same vicinity. But that’s not all because they’ve got indoor attractions of Dubai which are out to impress you.

  1. Dubai Mall. Aside from being one of the largest shopping malls in the region, this mall is also home to lots of aquatic animals and a dinosaur. Here you can find the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, one of the largest aquariums in the world. It is home to thousands of sea creatures from 140 different species. Tourists can enjoy glass bottom boat rides and shark dives during their visit. They can also check out the Ocean School to learn more about these creatures. Don’t forget about the dinosaur. On display at the Dubai Mall is the real skeleton of a long neck whip-tailed sauropod. It was discovered in Wyoming USA in 2008 and is said to be over 155 million years old.
  2. Ski Dubai. This is one of the unusual indoor attractions of Dubai that can really impress you. Ski Dubai is the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East and the largest in the world. It has around 22,500 square meters of ski area and a 3,000 square meter Snow Play area. You can try different snow activities like skiing, snowboarding, or even tobogganing. If you don’t feel like being a daredevil then you can just play in the snow, visit the ice cave, or book an encounter with the penguins.
  3. The Green Planet. If you can have snow in the desert then why not have a tropical forest too. The Green planet is one of the newest indoor attractions of Dubai. It is the first indoor tropical forest in the Middle East with a real ecosystem at work. Aside from the fascinating collection of flora and fauna, you can also find different birds, animals and insects here. At the center of it all is an 82 foot tall artificial tree made up of an artificial trunk that holds real plants.
