Classic characters like Mickey Mouse and the Disney Princesses appeal to both kids and those who are young at heart. This makes Disneyland a great destination for family vacations. According to a CNN Travel article in 2016, Disney Parks in US and Japan remain to be a top favorite among tourists. Only three of the top 10 spots belonged to theme parks other than Disney. This is not a surprise for those who have already experienced the magic of Disney. But for those who have yet to discover the magic here are some classic favorites.

Disney Theme Parks offers plenty of attractions to suit different ages and thrill preferences. Young kids and adults who would like to take things easy have plenty of rides to choose from. They can start with a classic carousel rides or choose among a variety of slow rides. This include rides like “It’s a small world”, Jungle Cruise, and Liberty Square Riverboat. If you want to add a bit or a fright or thrill into your slow ride then go for these three rides. The Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Pirates of the Caribbean can add a bit of excitement to your slow rides.

Add some spin into your slow rides and try the Mad Tea Party Ride where even little ones can have fun with teacups. You can take the spinning up in the air with the Astro Orbiter and Dumbo the Flying Elephant rides. Now if it is thrilling dips and drops that you want, Disney’s got it too. The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Space Mountain is perfect for such thrill seekers. These are simply classic rides from the Magic Kingdom Park of Disneyland. We haven’t begun to explore the Disney Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park yet.

Children today are quite lucky to have so many theme parks to choose from. But for a lot of people, Disneyland remains to be a favorite happy place. Those who would like to experience the magic of Disneyland can visit any Disneyland Resort in the USA, Europe, and Asia.
